Rustic fried sausage in a pan with potatoes
Rustic fried sausage in a pan with potatoes is a delicious hot dish that can be quickly and easily prepared for dinner or lunch. Despite its simplicity, it turns out a main dish that is beautiful, tasty and worthy of a friendly gathering, which is suitable for a glass of vodka and with a glass of ice beer will be appropriate. Pork sausages, which the peasants called the “shoved finger”, are easy to get in our time, not like before, at a time when there was no mention of a meat grinder or nozzles for sausages. Peasants filled the intestines manually, hence the name.
You can cook a dish of pork sausage or choose any other variety that you like and can afford.
Better to cook in a large pan without a lid. Putting out sausages with gravy is also delicious, but roasted ones look more appetizing and turn out juicy.
Potatoes need to be put cooked on the stove at the same time as cooking the roast, or boiled until ready in advance.

The method of cooking fried sausages in a pan with a rustic potato
Cut into large onions. In a pan, melt pork fat or heat vegetable oil for frying, throw onions, quickly fry.
Usually sausages are sold as sausages in a whole, uncut intestine. Uncut sausages are difficult to turn over, so we cut the intestines with scissors, put sausages in a frying pan, fry on both sides.
Cut the pod of sweet fleshy pepper in half, remove the stalk with seeds, rinse with running water. If you like hot food, add chopped chilli besides bell pepper.
Cut the peeled cubes into cubes and throw them into the pan.
We fry on low heat for 25 minutes, periodically turn over sausages so that they brown evenly.
Next, add sour cream or fat cream, pass the garlic cloves through the garlic press, salt, pepper to your liking, simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.
Young potatoes with my washcloth with an abrasive, boil in a peel until tender, cut small tubers in half, large ones into four parts.
Throw the boiled potatoes into the pan, cook everything together for a few more minutes.
Finely chop a bunch of fresh herbs - parsley, cilantro, green onion, dill. Sprinkle sausage with potatoes, herbs and ground sweet paprika.
On the table we serve fried sausage with potatoes right in the pan, it’s tastier, because in the rustic kitchen refined cutlery is not appropriate. I advise you to supplement the dish with salted crispy cucumbers, tomatoes or pickled mushrooms and, if permissible, a glass of strong drink or a glass of beer.
Enjoy your meal. Cook simple and tasty food at home, gather friends at a cozy home table and there will be joy for everyone!
